The Watershed Addiction Treatment Programs, Inc. is seeking a
psychiatrist to provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses and
treatment plans for individuals who suffer from chemical
dependence and co-morbid psychiatric illnesses.
Specific Job Duties:
● Managing inpatient detoxification
services, provision of pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy for
co-morbid psychiatric
illnesses.
● Consulting with general medical
staff regarding physical illnesses.
● Working with a multi-disciplinary
treatment team in rendering inpatient treatment of chemical
dependence.
Requirements:
● Knowledge and experience in the
treatment of addictions is desired.
●
Must be a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist who is
licensed to practice medicine in the State of Florida.

Immediate Opening
- Adult Psychiatrist
Coastal Behavioral Healthcare, Inc., 1451 10th Street,
Sarasota, Florida, 24/7 Mental Health Crisis Stabilization Unit
(CSU). The CSU provides brief psychiatric intervention in
individuals with acute psychiatric conditions.
QUALIFICATIONS: Requires graduation from a recognized school of
medicine and licensure by the state of Florida, as a Physician.
Completion of residency program in psychiatry and board
certification/eligibility is also required. Responsible for
providing psychiatric and medical assessment of treatment
services to adults in a CSU hospital setting, education, and
training of the team, as well as development, maintenance and
supervision of medication and psychiatric and medical treatment
policies and procedures. Also, responsible for staffing rounds
on a daily basis on each patient, which is done with the
treatment team each morning.
This is a fulltime forty-hour per week position with full
benefits and the potential for additional income by
participation in the on-call rotation.
