The 2025 legislative session has been extended, again.

The Florida Legislature has once again extended the 2025 legislative session—this time until June 18, 2025—to finalize the state budget and associated policies. The extension was to resolve significant budget gaps. By pushing the session through mid‑June, lawmakers are working to agree on a roughly $50 billion spending plan along with more than $2 billion in permanent revenue cuts. Conference committees are actively negotiating issues ranging from education and health services to environmental funding, with the full Legislature expected to vote by Monday, June 16.  You can read more about the extension HERE.
