FPS was thrilled to host the 2nd Annual RIPPLE leadership training program for chief psychiatric residents. RIPPLE, short for “Residents in Psychiatry Programs: Leadership Experience,” is designed to equip chief residents with tools and experiences to help them succeed in leadership positions and as a psychiatrist. Many congratulations to the residents pictured above as well as the esteemed faculty members who helped guide them throughout the program.

Over the course of three sessions, chief residents participated in engaging small group exercises and modules under the incredible facilitation and volunteer support of the following faculty members: Daniel Castellanos, MD, Omair Abbasi, MD, Ludmilla Barbosa De Faria, MD, Carolyn Drazinic, MD, PhD, MBA, and Audrey La Noce, DO. Thank you, faculty, for your time and efforts given to the residents and this program!

FPS leadership and staff would like to send a heartfelt thank you to RIPPLE program developer and facilitator Dan Castellanos, MD, formerly of Florida International University. Dr Castellanos has accepted a new position as the Founding Associate Dean of Graduate Medical Education and Associate Designated Institutional Official (DIO) for the Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance in Phoenix.

Dr. Ludmilla De Faria and Dr. Audrey La Noce will take over as the new Program Chairs in 2023!
