RFM Corner FAQ
How can I contribute to the Resident & Fellow Member Corner as an author?
Submit your article for review by members of the editorial team by using the submission form HERE.
Are manuscripts peer-reviewed?
Articles submitted are reviewed by the FPS Editorial Board, but they do not go through a formal, scientific, peer-review process.
I am a medical student, may a submit an article to be included in the RFM Corner?
The primary author of the article must be a Resident/Fellow Member of FPS. If you would like to contribute to an article, please find an RFM to work with, or contact the FPS office to be paired with one in your area.
Do I need to fill out a disclosure form?
FPS ensures the appropriate disclosure of any real or perceived conflicts of interest. Authors must define any and all funding sources supporting the submitted work. All corporate sponsors must be identified, even if their support is indirect. Please list any entity whose primary business is producing, marketing, selling, re-selling, or distributing healthcare products used by or on patients on the submission form. If a conflict is determined, you will be asked to disclose this information in the body of your article.
How will I know if my article has been accepted?
You will receive a response from us within 30 days to confirm which issue of E-Connect it will appear in, or if any edits are needed prior to publication.
